May I pre-purchase transfers for my disembarkation?
Return transfers must be arranged onboard your Regent Seven Seas cruise with the tour desk and will be billed to your shipboard account.
When is embarkation and disembarkation?
Embarkation begins between 12pm (noon) and 1pm. Suites are not usually available before 3pm. If sailing from a U.S. port, in order to meet U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements, you must embark the ship no later than two hours prior to sailing time. All other sailings require you to embark no later than an hour and 30 minutes prior to sailing time. For disembarkation, plan on vacating your suite shortly after the scheduled arrival time into port. Flights should not be scheduled within four hours of disembarkation.
Will we need to go through customs?
Upon returning to the United States, all baggage is subject to inspection by U.S. Customs Service. If originating or terminating your Regent Seven Seas cruise in a foreign port, you may also be subject to inspection by local customs officials. Residents of the United States are allowed a duty-free exemption of $800 per person and those over the age of 21 may include one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes in their exempted purchases.
