La Bufadora and Horseback
Ensenada
Tour Details
After pickup at the port, travel in a rickshaw to Playa Hermosa. Once at Playa Hermosa, your horseback riding guide will select a gentle horse for your 45-minute horseback ride on the sand. Afterward, continue by shuttle bus or minivan and spend 90 minutes at the world's largest ocean geyser: La Bufadora; the result of air being trapped in a sea cave by wave action. As the water recedes, a large spout and thunderous boom are created; the phenomena repeats every minute with its volume determined by the strength of the swell with water reaching a height of up to 65 feet (20 meters).
After witnessing the natural waterworks, you can spend time shopping at the local stores carrying Mexican handicrafts or sip a refreshing drink while watching artisans create beautiful works of art on dishes and abalone shells.
After returning to Ensenada in your air-conditioned vehicle, you will get dropped off at the port after this amazing four-hour tour.
